Finding families who not only need support, but also have the commitment and heart to care for animals is not always easy. That’s why meeting this mother–daughter duo in A Lưới is especially meaningful. They have been proud participants in the Goat Husbandry Program for several years.
With patience and dedication, they have turned opportunity into sustainability. During our visit, we were delighted to meet their newest arrival, a four-week-old baby girl goat, born healthy and strong, even in the winter months. It’s a small life with a big message: the program is working.
Each night, the goats are safely kept in their shelter. During the day, they freely roam the farm, foraging for food and contributing naturally to the family’s livelihood. The goats provide more than nutrition, they offer stability, dignity, and a pathway forward.
Through renewed resources and consistent care, the mother-daughter duo are no longer just surviving. They are building a future, feeding themselves sustainably, and slowly rising above poverty , one goat at a time. Your gift of $600, can provide an opportunity for other families in need of a sustainable food source.
Thank you for caring!
