Mr. Nguyen’s Hope: Building a Future One Goat at a Time

Mr. Nguyen’s goat shed ready to receive goats from your generous donations!

Mr. Nguyen is a farmer in A Lưới District and a future participant in the Goat Husbandry Program. He and his wife live simply, sharing communal land where they grow rice and a small space where they care for any animals they are able to raise. Mr. Nguyen lives with the long-term effects of Agent Orange. His spine is curved, and his left foot is permanently damaged. Yet, none of this slows his spirit.

When Mr. Nguyen learned that he might be selected for the Goat Husbandry Program, he didn’t wait. With his own hands and limited tools, he began building a goat shelter before receiving a single animal. For ten days, he worked carefully and patiently. Today, his shelter stands ready to welcome goats that could change his family’s future.

Families like Mr. Nguyen’s don’t ask for charity, they ask for opportunity. They already have the work ethic, the resilience, and the hope. What they need is a chance with your support.

Your support of $600 helps turn shelters into livelihoods, goats into nutrition, and determination into lasting change.

With Gratitude,

Mr. Nguyen
